The Corporate Manslaughter & Corporate Homicide Act 2006
has focused the attention of management of many companies on the quality of
driving standards within their company.
Insurance companies are also applying pressure on management to ensure drivers
are of an acceptable standard.
Whilst Driver Assessments do not guaruntee that drivers will never have another
accident, it does give the opportunity to identify those who present a higher
risk, and therefore those who would benefit from corrective driver training.
Remember, Driving Assessments should not only cover commercial drivers, but
sales representatives, fitters, couriers, chauffeurs, management – even
directors and owners!
